Interior Design- Corporate and Healthcare

Freiheit & Ho Architects, Inc., P.S. seeks an individual with attention to detail, commercial oriented, flourishes in fast paced atmosphere, and is driven to help owners/clients build their dream environments. This is not a typical interiors position, you will develop your projects from conception, through permitting and construction documentation, as well as seeing the project through construction.

Responsible for leading clients through the planning, design, final construction process. You will manage multiple aspects of client/owner and project coordination including production of documentation (permitting and construction). You will interact with client/owners, vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and company’s colleagues.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Mid-level experience in corporate/commercial interiors and/or healthcare
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures with the architecture industry
  • Develop interiors based on client vision and architectural needs and requirements
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficient in detailing complex and unique project conditions
  • Coordinates all project production and coordination efforts
  • Perform QA/QC reviews
  • Assist in code and zoning review
  • Responsible to fully research and coordinate, document and submit all plan check corrections with applicable city agencies and engineers
  • Responsible to fully address construction issues in field and provide appropriate direction to GC/Subs
  • Serves as a client liaison to keep the project on time and within the budget
  • Works independently or under limited supervision
  • NCIDQ preferred but not required

Intern Architect

We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern Architect with an interest in Retail, Office Buildings, Industrial Developments, and Commercial Tenant Improvements Projects to fill a key Production and Design position.

 

Preferred Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in architectural firm

 

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • Able to develop most portions of a project with little oversight
  • Handle technical and production aspects of projects
  • A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks from the mundane to the extraordinary
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Able to multitask
  • Good communication skills: Verbal & Written
  • Experienced in all different aspects of the profession
  • A Team Player
  • Revit proficiency MUST be high
  • Good technical understanding of construction and processes

Project Architect/Project Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with an interest in Mixed-Use, Retail, Office, Industrial, Housing and Commercial Projects.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Five or more years of professional experience in an architectural firm is required
  • Strong project and team personnel management experience.
  • Requires significant Client contact and management.
  • Works with Principals to develop proposals, process billings and manage consultants.
  • Responsible for design management with strong design skills and a willingness to work on a diverse set of projects
  • Responsible for working drawings, budgeting, scheduling, specifications, planning and design on a given project with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities. Coordinates all trades and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings.
  • Responsible for supervision and quality-control review of support staff.
  • A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks from the mundane to the extraordinary
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Good communication skills: Verbal & Written
