Architectural Designer/Drafter

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with an interest in Multi-Unit Restaurant and Light-Commercial projects to fill a key Project Production position.

 

The work will include the following:

  • Site investigation of existing and proposed facilities
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and reports, including accessibility studies
  • Preparation of design studies for new construction and remodels
  • Coordination with owner’s representatives
  • Preparation of construction documents
  • Coordination of sub-consultants
  • Coordination of entitlement actions; and building and health permits
  • Construction Administration

 

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • Jr. College, Vocational or Technical School Program degree or certificate with emphasis in architectural/engineering design.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in an architectural/engineering firm
  • Able to develop most portions of a building project with supervision
  • Handle technical and production aspects of projects
  • A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Able to multitask
  • Good communication skills: Verbal & Written
  • Experienced in all different aspects of the profession
  • A Team Player
  • AutoCAD and Revit software proficiency – 3D and Photoshop experience a plus

Preferred Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in architectural firm

Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team.  Candidates must be self-starters and possess excellent graphic design, written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with architectural, engineering, or professional service firms is desirable.

This position will be responsible for leading a rebranding initiative to include all collateral materials and website.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Plan marketing activities; develop and maintain marketing budget, systems, content and records.
  • Produce proposals; public relations materials; and responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s.
  • Write resumes, project descriptions, etc.
  • Update social media information
  • Update Intranet and Extranet Websites
  • Coordinates and leads internal marketing activities
  • Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers, etc.)
  • Plan and coordinate special events
  • Research target markets
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations, including SMPS

 

Able to lead the following key initiative:

  • Manage and lead firm rebranding to include coordination of external consultants and internal team

 

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: 

  • Engaging personality able to easily connect with staff and clientele
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Experienced at content writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Adobe Creative Suite Software
  • Organizational skills, multi-tasking
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures
  • Working knowledge of marketing databases and proposal resources files
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles

 

Required Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum three years of experience
  • Without a degree, three to five years of relevant A/E/C experience required

Project Architect/Project Manager

If you are looking for additional responsibility and taking the next step to team leadership then please read on.

We are looking for a project team leader, an individual who enjoys what they do and feels comfortable taking leadership of the team. The project types for this team vary from quick turn around to long term, small and large tenant improvements, remodel to ground-up and master planning.   Being licensed is not required however showing dedication working towards licensure is encouraged.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 6 or more years of professional experience in an architectural firm is required
  • Strong project and team personnel management experience
  • Requires significant Client contact and management
  • Works with Principals to develop proposals, process billings and manage consultants
  • Responsible for design management with strong design skills and a willingness to work on a diverse set of projects
  • Responsible for working drawings, budgeting, scheduling, specifications, planning and design on a given project with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities. Coordinates all trades and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings
  • Responsible for supervision and quality-control review of support staff
  • A ‘can do’ work attitude on all tasks from the mundane to the extraordinary
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Good communication skills: Verbal & Written
